The stars of WrestleZone are once again in action this coming Saturday as they return to the Brechin City Hall. With their next big event Halloween Hijinx just over a month away, everyone will be hoping to impress management to earn a spot on the card.

Chris Archer vs Shawn Johnson (c) vs Johnny Lions

The main event for this Saturday’s show will see Shawn Johnson put his Undisputed Championship on the line against Chris Archer and Johnny Lions. Shawn has been a dominant champion since winning the gold at Aberdeen Anarchy, putting back challengers such as Mr P, Joe Coffey and former tag partner Bryan Tucker. His latest defence came just a few days ago in Keith, where he held on to his title against Chris Archer. However, Archer impressed WrestleZone management enough to be awarded a second title opportunity this weekend in Brechin. Shawn’s second challenger on Saturday will be former two-time Undisputed Champion, “Tenacious” Johnny Lions. Lions hasn’t been on the best roll as of late, failing to pick up the Tri-Counties Championship from Aspen Faith and then failing to earn another title shot in a #1 Contenders Match this past Saturday. However, he has also clearly impressed management to earn a crack at the title. Yet another tough title defence for the golden boy of Sterling Oil.

Mr P vs Aspen Faith (c)

The Tri-Counties Championship will be defended this Saturday, as Aspen Faith defends against Mr P. Aspen has been a tremendous champion since winning the gold at Aberdeen Anarchy in June, with a fantastic match against Johnny Lions two weeks ago at Battle of the Nations proving just that. His next challenger will be a man looking to win his first singles gold, Mr P. Mr P lost this year’s Battle of the Nations Match to Andy Wild thanks to interference from Nathan North, but he was able to rebound from the loss by defeating Johnny Lions and Zach Dynamite this past Saturday in Keith to become the next challenger. The King of Catch has a tough task ahead of him this weekend, but he’ll look to use the 10 minute time limit to his advantage in order to retain his title.

Damien’s war against Sterling Oil continues this Saturday as he takes on one half of the WrestleZone Tag Team Champions, Alan Sterling. After finally turning his back on Sterling Oil at Battle of the Nations, The Revolutionary defeated Alan’s brother William in Keith to mark a successful start to his post-Sterling Oil career. Also at Battle of the Nations, Alan became a five-time Tag Team Champion and also injured Mikkey Vago in the process with a DDT on a steel chair. After seeing what happened to his brother in Keith, Alan will be hoping to put a stop to Damien’s crusade against Sterling Oil.

Two former Undisputed Champions go head to head this weekend as the dominant Crusher Craib takes on Bryan Tucker. After his destruction of Scotty Swift at Battle of the Nations and Bradley Evans in Keith, The Creator of Carnage will look to make Bryan Tucker the next victim to his thunderous Big Boot. But if there’s one thing we’ve seen from Tucker throughout his career, it’s that he won’t go down without a fight. Despite starting his career on a long losing streak, Bryan shocked everyone and went the whole distance to win the 2011 Regal Rumble Match. Whatever allowed Bryan to put up that much of a fight is what he’ll need this Saturday.

After being dismantled by Crusher Craib a few days ago in Keith, Bradley Evans will return to action with another larger opponent as he takes on the man that ended Scotty Swift’s 525-day title reign and this year’s Battle of the Nations winner, “Unstoppable” Andy Wild. Surely, Bradley won’t be at 100% heading in to this huge match but he’ll be certain to give it all he has. Unfortunately for him, that may not be enough against a man like Andy Wild. After improving so much over the last year, the Englishman recently became the first man to win back to back Battle of the Nations Matches. With his rivalry against Mr P seemingly over for now, perhaps Wild can head back to the Undisputed Title picture.

“Vintage” Nathan North, complete with new manager Jeeves Winchester, will also be in singles action this weekend as he takes on Zach Dynamite. After losing his previous two matches, both Triple Threats, Zach will be happy to be back in one on one competition. Despite being unsuccessful in winning the Undisputed Championship and then failing to earn a shot at the Tri-Counties Championship, Dynamite has been impressing massively since his return from injury 12 months ago. Meanwhile, The Vintage One has recently took on Jeeves Winchester as his new associate. After costing Mr P his match at Battle of the Nations, Nathan will need to be on the lookout incase Mr P tries to return the favour in Brechin.

Tickets for the show are available from http://www.ringsideworld.co.uk, priced at Β£12 for adults and Β£10 for under 14s. Doors open at 7pm, with the action set to begin at 7:30.
