Preview: Rock N Wrestle ‘Winter Slam 2017’

December 9th 2017 | The Ironworks | Inverness

This Saturday Rock N Wrestle return to The Ironworks for their final show of the year and a final tough title defense for the Highland Heavyweight Champion Jack Jester.

Rock N Wrestle Heavyweight Championship
Jack Jester (c) vs Sabu

After a couple months fighting off WWE UK star Wolfgang, Jester got through a no holds barred bout with former Impact Wrestling star Bram in Caol and now faces a man that has made a name for himself by ripping his body apart night after night, a Legend in hardcore wrestling, the homicidal, genocidal, death defying Sabu. These two have clashed before in other promotions but this will be Sabu’s debut in the Highland capital and he’ll be walking into a venue where Jester is considered godly. The two time RNW Highland Heavyweight Champion Jester has been undefeated in Rock N Wrestle this year and will look to keep that 100% record in tact.

Ravie Davie vs Saqib Ali

Two men with less than stellar win-loss records in Rock N Wrestle are Ravie Davie and Saqib Ali. They go one on one at The Ironworks in the second scheduled bout. The β€˜pure mental’ Ravie Davie has been gathering popularity, something that Saqib Ali has little time for as he remains ‘pure gangster’ at all times. Two young and hungry wrestlers that could maybe start to lay claim to having a shot at the RNW Highland Heavyweight Champion in the future with a dominant win here.

Also scheduled to be in action are the leader of The Fite Network, Kid Fite, who has been making RNW COO Steve Robertson’s life a misery in an attempt to take over Rock N Wrestle. Davey Blaze has also been announced, the Money In The Bank holder has another chance to cash in if he so chooses to. The RNW Tag Team Championships will also be awarded to Just Uz following their victory over The Purge at The Great Highland Slam earlier in the year. The Purge haven’t been officially announced but they will surely be out to stake their claim on the RNW Tag Team Championships that were so close to being theirs.

Tickets are still available at www.fatsoma.com/rocknwrestleΒ to see Sabu in Inverness.

The road to The Great Highland Bash 2018 begins, a night where Ryback comes to Inverness, which takes place on March 29th 2018 at The Ironworks.
