With the card they have lined up featuring some of Scotland’s top names as well as the stars of the future, Big Massive Wrestling is set to begin their chapter in the Scottish wrestling history books with a bang!

Krieger vs Andy Wild

The promotion is called Big Massive Wrestling because of big massive main events such as this one. Krieger vs Andy Wild is a match I never knew I wanted until now. When you think of matches that will be excellent in Scottish wrestling, this may not be one that comes to mind. I’ve got no doubts that it’ll be a fantastic encounter though – it’s not every day you get to see big Scudmaster Sexy and The Stovie Superman going head to head in singles action. We know fine well what both men are capable of, specifically in the case of Wild. He’s held championships up and down the country, and is once again one of the biggest names in Scotland after going through a career resurgence that’s seen him become a prominent figure in ICW, Discovery Wrestling, and WrestleZone. On the other hand, Krieger’s success has mainly come in the form of tag teams, whether it be with TJ Rage, Matt Tyson, or usual partner Lou King Sharp. That’s not to say he’s not a tremendous singles wrestler though. The newly-named Prince of Parkour (check out this fantastic video from Kid Fite to understand) will have loads of new tricks up his sleeve to down The Dad Bod God.

Prince Asad vs Lou King Sharp

It’ll be Prince vs King in Stirling – the royal battle that the world is talking about. On paper, this may not seem like the most important match of all time but if you’ve been keeping up with Lou King Sharp in the last week or so, you’ll be aware of how important this actually is. Sharp’s two matches this weekend (here and also against Paul Robinson on Sunday) are his last two scheduled matches before he heads over to China to begin the next chapter of his career with Oriental Wrestling Entertainment. As a result, it makes the match with Prince Asad feel that bit bigger. Asad has had some success in his career, including capturing the W3L Tag Team Championships with Pure Gangster partner Saqib Ali. However, a victory over Lou King Sharp would be an excellent boost for his career, especially given the current circumstances. It won’t exactly be as simple as that though of course as The Blood Tourist vows to leave Scotland with an additional victory in the bag.

Fatal Four Way Elimination Match
Soldato vs Falcon vs Robbie Solar vs Lucha DS

As it says on the match graphic, it’s time for a Lucha War in Stirling on Saturday when all four members of Lucha Scotland collide for the first time ever. The masked men of mystery came together due to sharing a fondness for risk-taking dives and wearing colourful masks – they’re basically an army of wee Rey Mysterio’s (there’s something I never thought I’d write). When it comes to success, the group have had quite a bit, especially in the form of Lucha DS. In the last year and a bit, DS has won the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship in Caithness Pro Wrestling, the Tag Team Championships in Scottish Wrestling Alliance alongside Robbie Solar, and also the annual King of Cruisers Match for Premier British Wrestling this past October. It’ll be an entertaining match to say the least but the big question is who is the best luchador of them all?

Leyton Buzzard vs Kid Fite

On the debut show for Pro Wrestling Innovation a few weeks ago, Kid Fite opened the show against one of his many PBW Academy graduates Daz Black, a match that quite possibly made a star out of young Daz. That could very well be the same case here as The Demolition Man comes up against Leyton Buzzard. Now, Leyton is certainly a name that’ll be more familiar than Daz Black, but that doesn’t mean this match won’t do wonders for his career, regardless of whether he wins or loses. It was just two weeks ago where The Prodigy captured the Scottish X Championship from arch-rival Kieran Kelly, a match that’s received rave reviews from what I’ve been reading. In addition, Buzzard is scheduled to tangle with former ally Joe Hendry at ICW Shug’s Hoose Party at the end of next month in what will arguably be the biggest match of his career up until this point. Time for Leyton to continue his impressive 2019 with a huge victory over Kid Fite here.

Rosie Nyte vs Angel Hayze

Two women looking to make their mark on the Scottish wrestling scene are Rosie Nyte and Angel Hayze, two prospects of the PBW Academy. While Rosie may still be a relative unknown to the majority of fans, Angel has been making her way around Scotland over the last few months, becoming a regular face in the women’s divisions of Source Wrestling and Discovery Wrestling. Her performance in March’s Disco Derby Match in the latter of those promotions saw her eliminate then-Discovery Women’s Champion and mentor Sammii Jayne, which was quite possibly one of the biggest moments in Angel’s career thus far. Rosie Nyte was also in that match and although she never eliminated anyone, she left quite the impression on the Discovery fans and management that evening so don’t be surprised to see her back down in Edinburgh sooner rather than later. For now though, she’ll be hoping to come out victorious in this match and ensure it’s Nyte time for Angel Hayze.

Tickets to the show are available from, priced Β£15 for a front row ticket, Β£12.50 for adults, Β£10 for children, and Β£40 for a family of four ticket. Doors at the Mayfield Community Centre open at 6pm, with the action kicking off at 6:30!
