We’re still six months away from WrestleZone’s flagship event Aberdeen Anarchy, this year the event takes place over two days at The Northern Hotel in Aberdeen. Thanks to a post on Instagram from Bradley Evans, where he put together his line up, my mind has been racing to come up with my own. So here it is:

Night One

 

Pre-Show – Battle Royal

Bingo Ballance vs Ian Skinner vs Andy Wild

William Sterling vs Blue Thunder

WrestleZone Tag Team Championship Tournament Semi Final – The Foundation of the Future (Bradley Evans & Ryan Riley) vs Scotty Swift & Connor Inglis

WrestleZone Tag Team Championship Tournament Semi Final – The Rejected (Chris Archer & Mikkey Vago) vs The Outfit (Ted O’Keefe & Dino Del Monte)

Granite City Street Fight – Bryan Tucker vs Shawn Johnson

Main Event – WrestleZone Tri-Counties Championship – Jason Reed (c) w/Coach vs Grado

This whole show relies on many assumptions, mainly the fallout of Swift Lions and Sterling & Thunder at Christmas Chaos. In my mind, Johnny Lions ends his WrestleZone career as WrestleZone Tag Team Champion which leads to the vacating of the Championships. A tournament would be set up to crown new champions. Much like the tournament back in 2013 I’d have Scotty Swift have a ‘Young Lion’ as his partner to replace Johnny Lions that being Connor Inglis. In my head they beat Sterling & Thunder which leads to their downfall and eventual demise.

What I’ve found from previous years, often folk start leaving after Grado’s match or the special guest’s match, to combat this I’d have Grado main event against Jason Reed. A big Tri-Counties Championship match to main event the first show of the weekend.

Night Two

 

Pre-Show – Alan Sterling & Mauler Murphy vs Kaden Garrick & Mr P

Bingo Ballance vs BT Gunn

WrestleZone Tag Team Championship Tournament Final – The Foundation of the Future (Bradley Evans & Ryan Riley) vs The Rejected (Chris Archer & Mikkey Vago)

Crusher Craib vs Caleb Valhalla

Kid Fite vs Shawn Spears

Grado, Lou King Sharp & Krieger vs The Kingdom of Catch (Aspen Faith, Lewis Girvan & Sammii Jayne)

Main Event – Undisputed WrestleZone Championship – Damien (c) vs Zach Dynamite

More assumptions for this, Zach Dynamite wins the Regal Rumble, which could lead to The Foundation of the Future leaving with all the gold. The guest, my mind was tossing a coin between Shawn Spears and Rhyno. WrestleZone are pretty good and getting someone that has a crossover appeal. PAC with his WWE-AEW ties from last year and I think Shawn Spears could have that same market, plus him versus Kid Fite would be very good. Rhyno was the other name that came to mind with his WWE, ECW and Impact Wrestling appeal he would be a decent shout… I’m wishing I put him in my five possible guests list. Either way, Kid Fite would be a great opponent.

Other than that I’ve thrown in matches I really want to see; Craib vs Valhalla, Ballance vs Gunn and the six person match that would be shenanigan filled. Jayne vs Sharp would be all sorts of great.
