In the opening contest of the main WrestleMania 36 night one card, Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss defeated The Kabuki Warriors, Asuka and Kairi Sane, to become the first two time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

This year’s WrestleMania takes place over two nights at the WWE Performance Center and behind closed doors due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Alexa Bliss pinned Kairi Sane following a Twisted Bliss.

WrestleMania 36 marked Nikki Cross’ first appearance on the main show but her second WrestleMania appearance overall after making her debut in the Women’s WrestleMania Battle Royal during the pre-show last year. This marks her first win at the showcase of the immortals.
