6. Valhalla Drops The Captain

19th March 2022

At ‘Halloween Hijinks’ in 2018, Alan Sterling introduced the WrestleZone audience to his new bodyguard, the Norse God Caleb Valhalla. Adorned in a t-shirt with Sterling’s face on it, and making it “All About Alan”, the relationship flourished.

As time went on the crowd fell in love with the naïve Viking, often cheering for Valhalla on shows. Sterling started to deny Valhalla from having fun with the crowd, and generally started to mistreat Caleb, blaming him for losses, and belittling the muscled bound Adonis.

The plot thickened at ‘Summerhill Showdown’ when Captain Alan left Caleb to fight Crusher Craib and Connor Molloy alone in a non-title match, and despite a spirited effort not even the mighty Caleb could overcome the numbers. Crusher Craib got on the microphone after the match and told Valhalla to his face that he needs to drop Alan Sterling.

The moment happened at ‘Regal Rumble’, Caleb and Alan challenged Connor and Crusher for the WrestleZone Tag Team Championships but fell short. Sterling berated Caleb, and slapped Valhalla in the face. Caleb gave Captain Alan the Helride in response to an eruption from inside the Northern Hotel.

Later in the night, in the Regal Rumble match itself, thanks to some help from the Captain, Lord Mr Malice eliminated Caleb Valhalla from the match to add further fuel to the fire.
