Royal Rumble: Scottish Stats

This Saturday, World Wrestling Entertainment presents the 36th annual Royal Rumble. Arguably the most exciting event on the wrestling calendar. The twists, turns, and both feet hitting the floor.

But how have the Scots done in the Royal Rumble match itself? I’ve got stats!

Recording her first elimination last year when she eliminated WWE Hall of Famer ‘Mighty’ Molly Holly, Nikki Cross has went through some evolutions, from the crazed Sanity member, Almost a Super Hero, and now her dark villain phase. A former RAW Women’s Champion, Women’s Tag Team Champion, Money in the Bank winner, and the final 24/7 Champion, Cross isn’t one to dismiss this year.

The first, and albeit only, Scottish and British Royal Rumble winner, Drew McIntyre is a constant threat in the Royal Rumble. Winning in 2020 by last eliminating Roman Reigns, and being in the final two in 2021.

WWE has a thriving Scottish wrestling contingent right now with Drew McIntyre, Nikki Cross, and Doudrop on the main roster with Alba Fyre, Isla Dawn, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang, Joe Coffey, and Noam Dar either on NXT or currently unassigned. Could we see another Scot go all the way in 2023?

and just for fun…
