The full SWN150 list will be revealed on Christmas Day, today we begin our countdown of special articles to celebrate the Top 10 and how they performed in the last 12 months that has earned them a place in the Top 10 of the SWN150.
COUSIN ZANDER
Starting the year as Community Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champion, Cousin Zander along with Steg and Ravie Davie rattled the high profile defences against CPF, The Hype Dawgs, BDE, and Sunshine Machine before losing to The Big Strong Kings at the start of May. The titles were vacated with The Govan Team regaining the championships by the end of month, defeating The Stars Aligned and Vanity to get the championships back into their possession.
Their second reign ended in August with The Freshnas nabbing the gold at Rebel County Wrestling in Cork.
Zander’s year took a twist with winning the Govan Rumbo but thanks to Steg he was unable to take the CPW Heavyweight Championship from Mr Wanderer.
Over at Attitude Pro Wrestling, The Govan Team dethroned Termination Z at Ruggy Mania to become the new APW Tag Team Champions, defending the titles against The Plague Runners at Ruggy Havoc.
Wins over Nick Justice and Manky Frankie at Hardcore Wrestling From Glasgow kept his year strong, the latter had him in the final to crown the first HWFG Champion which was won by Leyton Buzzard.
