Preview: Rock N Wrestle ‘Wrestle Fest 2017’

The Ironworks, Inverness

Rock N Wrestle return in 2017 with Wrestlefest taking place at The Ironworks, Inverness. The Highland promotion look to make 2017 their year and to kick off they have a rematch from Winterslam, the new Rock N Wrestle, and first two time, Highland Heavyweight Champion, Jack Jester against the former champion Liam Thomson.

At Winterslam the challenge was laid out by The Highland Rumble winner Wolfgang, which Jester accepted, but before the showdown “Bad Boy” Liam Thomson has elected to invoke his rematch clause. Wolfgang will also be at The Ironworks and, while Liam Thomson has been shuffling through his contract to find the rematch clause, has been appearing on the WWE Network as part of the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament. He missed out on the WWE UK Championship so will be out to gain some gold in the very near future. Let’s not forget that Davey Blaze holds the Money in the Bank Championship opportunity, could February 10th be the night? A lot of ifs and buts surrounding this re-match so a lot to keep an eye on. Not forgetting that BT Gunn is also a number one contender. Jack Jester has a target on his back with plenty arrows coming his way.

The second match announced involves my Mother’s favourite wrestler and the Scud Master Sexy, Lou King Sharp & Krieger, as they face the towering team of Aaron Echo & TJ Rage. Rage eliminated both Sharp and Krieger from The Highland Rumble so Krieger will be shining up his scudding boots to be put to good use and not just for sexy dancing.

Rock N Wrestle Chief Operating Officer, Steve Robertson, will also be on hand as he will addressing Ravie Davie’s promise to rename Rock N Wrestle to Rave N Wrestle. Ravie Davie made a lasting impression on his debut during The Highland Rumble in December. We here at OSWtv have made a mock up of the new logo if Ravie Davie’s plan succeeds…

One of the most promising tag team’s in the country right now, The Purge, will also be in Inverness along with the Rock N Wrestle regulars like the villainous Kid Fite, it will be another night of great action in the Highland capital.

Tickets are still available at and Rock N Wrestle hope to kick off the year in style so be part of it as they continue to forge a name for themselves in this country.

Announced Matches:
Lou King Sharp & Krieger vs Aaron Echo & TJ Rage
Rock N Wrestle Highland Championship – Jack Jester (c) vs Liam Thomson
