Handicap Match
Damien & Scotty Swift vs Sterling Oil (Shawn Johnson & The Sterling Brothers (Alan Sterling & William Sterling))

The main event for this show will see a huge Handicap Match between 5 of WrestleZone’s biggest personalities as former Undisputed Champions Damien and Scotty Swift take on the Sterling Oil trio of Alan and William Sterling alongside the new Undisputed Champion Shawn Johnson. Both Damien and Swift have been having their problems with the members of Sterling Oil as of late. After leaving the group this past September, Damien captured the Undisputed Championship from Shawn Johnson last October, before losing the title back to Johnson at last month’s Summerhill Showdown event after being low blowed by Richard R. Russell. Meanwhile, Scotty Swift was put on the shelf at Battle of the Nations by Crusher Craib, before returning to save Damien from a beatdown at Christmas Chaos in December. After getting himself disqualified himself in a match with Crusher after using a steel chair, The Red Haired Warrior will look to get back to winning ways in Newtonhill. Who knows what could happen when these 5 collide!

WrestleZone Tri-Counties Championship
Mikkey Vago vs Aspen Faith (c)

After regaining the Tri-Counties Championship from Zach Dynamite at Summerhill Showdown, “The King of Catch” Aspen Faith faces his first title defence as he puts his gold up for grabs against one half of the Tag Team Champions, Mikkey Vago. Faith had a phenomenal 2017, becoming the inaugural Tri-Counties Champion and wrestling regularly for promotions such as ICW and Discovery Wrestling. Having recaptured the Tri-Counties Championship from Zach Dynamite just under two weeks ago, The King of Catch will look to kick off his new title reign with a bang as he faces Mikkey Vago. The Heavy Metal Hooligan started and ended 2017 in the same fashion, winning the Tag Team Championships from The Sterling Brothers on separate occasions. Vago now gets a rare opportunity at singles gold in Newtonhill. With his Rejected partner Chris Archer failing to win the title from Faith back in October, will luck be on the side of Vago this Saturday?

Bradley Evans vs Zach Dynamite

Former friends collide in Newtonhill as Bradley Evans takes on former Tri-Counties Champion Zach Dynamite. In the latter half of 2017, Dynamite and Evans formed a partnership as they unsuccessfully challenged for the Tag Team Championships. After finally capturing his first taste of gold as he defeated Aspen Faith for the Tri-Counties Championship, Evans was happy to see his friend on top. That all changed at last month’s Summerhill Showdown as Dynamite lost the title back to The King of Catch. As Aspen headed back to the curtain. Zach snapped and attacked Evans. locking him in a vicious Anaconda Vice. Evans will have the chance to get some payback. but Dynamite seems more dangerous than ever before with this new attitude.

Mr P vs Crusher Craib

A huge first-time ever singles bout has also been signed for Newtonhill as Mr P faces off with Sterling Oil member Crusher Craib. Over the last few months, Mr P has been having problems with “Vintage” Nathan North, a rivalry stemming from North’s jealousy of P being chosen to compete in the annual Battle of the Nations Match as opposed to him. P, alongside Bryan Tucker and the returning Grado, picked up a win in a six man tag team match against Nathan and The Sterling Brothers last month, but the rivalry still isn’t at an end with the two set to face off next week in Montrose. Meanwhile, Crusher Craib has been on a warpath, particularly targeting Scotty Swift. Since returning to in-ring action at September’s Battle of the Nations event, The Creator of Carnage put Swift on the shelf for a number of months before he returned in December. After Swift got himself disqualified last month, their rivalry is far from being over. Crusher better have his eyes focused on a possible Swift appearance on Saturday.

Nathan North vs Chris Archer

Another first-time singles encounter will see “Vintage” Nathan North squaring off with the other half of the Tag Team Champions in the form of “The Outcast” Chris Archer. North made his official main roster debut just under one year ago, picking up victories over accomplished grapplers like Mr P, Blue Thunder and Zach Dynamite. Having been involved in a rivalry with Mr P for the last few months, The Vintage One will hope to regain some momentum, considering he lost in a Handicap Match to P alongside Jeeves Winchester and then again in a six man tag team match, where he teamed with The Sterling Brothers. Meanwhile, Chris Archer has had a fairly good time as of late. After regaining the Tag Team Championships from Alan and William Sterling alongside Mikkey Vago, The Outcast has shown himself to be one of the best WrestleZone have to offer. This match will be an interesting one to see featuring two of the youngest on the roster.

Jason Reed vs Cysto 2

After his unsuccessful attempt to win the Tag Team Championships last month, Jason Reed returns to singles competition as he faces the returning Cysto 2. The cheeky Fife grappler has developed a new attitude over the last few months, doing whatever it takes to pick up the three count. He’ll be in mood for the silly antics of Cysto. Although he comes across as a comedy act, The Tangerine Dream is a former Tag Team Champion. With the Regal Rumble just around the corner, this will be a chance for both men to pick up some momentum and hopefully earn themselves a spot in the annual Regal Rumble Match.
